Green Lake Relay For Life Kick-Off at Tutta Bella, January 26

My Green Lake is proud to support the 2010 Green Lake Relay for Life! Look for lots of news about this amazing event over the next several months on MyGreenLake.com.  To start things off, we hope that you’ll join us at the Green Lake Relay For Life Kick-Off at Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizza (4411 Stone Way N), from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26. The Friends of Green Lake needs your help combating milfoil

Last night, at the Green Lake Community Council meeting, Gayle Garman from the Friends of Green Lake shared some sad news: the milfoil at Green Lake continues to be a growing problem. In the late summer and during autumns at Green Lake, the water, especially by the paddle boat rental area, is filled with long, stringy, leafy weeds.  Yep, that’s milfoil. Gayle thanked the participants of two recent milfoil cleanups at the lake, but indicated that more work needs to be done. Green Lake's St. Andrews Bar and Grill

Although Aurora has a poor reputation in Seattle, many people forget how close it is to Green Lake and would miss a hidden gem like the St. Andrews Bar and Grill (7406 Aurora Ave N).
