The Green Lake Branch of The Seattle Public Library (7364 E. Green Lake Dr. N.) will operate on a reduced schedule beginning Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. The reduction in operating hours was part of a $1.7 million cut to the Library’s 2010 budget to help address a city revenue shortfall. Under the new schedule, the Green Lake Library’s hours will be: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; closed Friday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and closed Sunday. The skateboarders of Seattle fought hard for four years…

Pediatric dentist coming to Circa Green Lake
There’s a new dentist in the neighborhood. I just got off the phone with the leasing department at Circa Green Lake and confirmed that one of the ground floor retail units has been leased to Dr. Troy Hull, pediatric dentist. Dr. Hull’s new address is already registered with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He will be moving into Suite H. He has also registered the domain name www.greenlakekidsdentistry.com. We’ll be keeping an eye on it! Welcome to the neighborhood, Dr. Hull! Update: Dr. Hull will be opening his doors on May 3rd.
