Spanish Lessons Guy is a-ok, but won't be back to Green Lake until April

What do you think? (15 Comments) January 21, 2010 at 12:57AM

We received this thoughtful note from someone who wishes to be identified as simply “a friend of Spanish Lessons Guy“:

I’m a friend of the Spanish Lessons guy and apparently people have been worried because they haven’t seen him in quite a while.  He’s doing fine.  He’s out of town in a warmer climate until April, at which point he will be back perambulating around the lake and giving lessons.

We miss you, Leonardo!

Thanks for the update, Amy. I was a little worried about Leonardo.

I'll second that. Thank you, thank you! I too was concerned. Where would we be without Leonardo's humorous mischief? :) Allen T.

I was worried about Leonardo also, until I saw a print-out of this post by the water fountain at the Greenlake boathouse this morning. THANK YOU!!! :)

Does Leonardo have a method of contact to sign up for lessons aside from just catching up with him around the lake someday? Karen C.

Hi Karen – I believe that you'll need to just talk to him in person, but I could be wrong about that – if anyone has any contact info for Leonardo, let us know at tips@mygreenlake.com and we'll pass it along to Karen. Thanks!

Leonardo does have a phone number but meeting him in person walking around the lake would be the most surefire method of contacting him. He admits to being somewhat “technology challenged” so his cell phone use may be rather limited. He will be back by April Fool's Day! Allen T.

Glad to hear Leonardo is alright! I had anticipated him back this month and was beginning to worry that I hadn't heard from him yet. I miss my weekly Spanish lesson…
