We just received the following report from “a concerned neighbor.”  We’re assuming that this was a prank?  Anyone else know why someone would stretch a garden hose across a busy street?

Around 9:45 we heard and saw for a split-second a college-aged, white male at our front door on Latona in the 5700 block. We opened the door to find a garden hose nozzle attached to the door’s handle.  We looked out the window to see two cars stopped in the road because the hose was stretching across Latona at eye level. If those drivers hadn’t spotted it someone could have been severly injured.
