Free nature printmaking workshop at the Green Lake Library

From the library: Nature Printmaking workshop at the Green Lake Branch [7364 E. Green Lake Dr N] Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, 1-2 p.m. Nature Consortium will conduct a workshop on Nature Printmaking for ages 7 to adult. New traffic light at NE 64th St and Roosevelt Way NE

Green Lake and Wallingford Garage Sales & Open Houses November 28-29

Is it any surprise the map is so sparse this week? Perhaps the assumption is that everyone will be either shopped out or still sitting on their wallets. No garage sales, no rental showings, and only four open houses–one of which isn’t really in Green Lake or Wallingford. Here’s hoping for more to see next weekend. Metro Route 16 gains back six stops

The Seattle Transit Blog is reporting that, after reviewing public comments, King County Metro has saved a few bus stops along Route 16 that were previously slated for elimination, bringing the final count of eliminated stops from 33 to 27 (out of 109).
