SPT’s high school ensemble asks “What if?” in the Seattle premiere of a daring and provocative comic drama by a master contemporary playwright. What if a German Chancellor, as an act of redemption, invites six million Jews to relocate in Germany, with promises of citizenship and employment? Lebensraum (German for “living room”) takes you from Boston to Bremerhaven, from Israel to Australia to Berlin. Theatrical and inventive in its storytelling, Lebensraum is a story of love, economics, revenge, and forgiveness guaranteed to get you talking.

Curious about how you can get involved? Check out what we do at www.seattlepublictheater.org

Lebensraum features the work of Joe Ptasnik, Amy MacDonald, Aviva Wynn, Casey Bouldin, Celeste Endlich, Erica Thomas, Francesco D`Aniello, Jake Larson, Jessa Lowe, Max Delman, Maya Briller, Natalie Frevert, Noelle McCabe, Peter Durning, Sasha Kool, William Lavely, Drea Gramps, Isobel Bradbury, and Xandi Barber. Directed by Shana Bestock.
