Nicole Starnes Taylor, Principal Architect at MaKe Design Studio (156 NE 59th St), wrote to tell us that she and two other architects will be presenting a free remodeling seminar this Sunday from 1:00-3:00 at the Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW).  They will share the design and permitting process as well as answer specific project questions.

The seminar is open to all homeowners interested in renovating their home into a calming, functional, sustainable retreat. Bring your questions and we will provide answers on everything from how to start the process, who to hire, permitting requirements, tips and tricks of the trade, sustainable practices, cost estimating, design functionality and aesthetics.
