There are several schools in the area that need crossing guards, including Daniel Bagley Elementary (7821 Stone Avenue N), where there is a need for a crossing guard north of the school, at the crosswalk where Green Lake Dr N hits Aurora.

The hours are a bit strange, since they are keyed to the bell times. [ ... ] It does come with the added bonus of actual pay: about $13/hour. At 7.5 hours a week, that’s not a lot of scratch but it keeps me in coffee and bike parts. You also get a bus pass for a full year, which can come in handy. Plus I get to see a lot of smiling faces on kids of all ages.
