MGL Advertiser: Courtney Cooper, Green Lake real estate agent and really cool chick
We first learned of our newest advertiser through Wallyhood, that rocking Wallingford blog that we’re always going on about. Since we basically like to do everything Wallyhood does, we now share several advertisers with them, including Courtney Cooper, real estate agent extraordinaire.
Here’s what Wallyhood had to say about Courtney. What really caught our attention was the comment that she left on the post:
Thanks for the warm welcome – I have been following Wallyhood for a while now – both on the blog and also on Twitter:) I think you are operating a great community service here and want to support that!
Doesn’t she just seem so … nice? Well folks, it’s true. She’s been especially nice to us, posting the following to her Seattle Real Estate Blog:
Green Lake: Looking For A Good Source Of Neighborhood Info? Forget bigger media “hyper local” blogs!
Supporting local Seattle neighborhood blogs: I support them as a sponsor and believe that this site is making a difference in a community – a community that I work in almost every day whether I am previewing homes, showing houses or listing them. On top of it, they are savvy and nice girls! I had a great opportunity to sit down with the brains behind the operation at Mosaic in Wallingford and enjoyed myself beyond belief.
Green Lake Blogging at its best: Green Lake real estate is one of my favorite parts of Seattle real estate and I love reading all the local posts, but my very favorite Green Lake blog is MyGreenLake.

As Courtney mentions in her post, we did sit down for a copy of coffee with Courtney, and, well, we had a blast. Courtney is easy-going, funny, and knowledgeable. And, she had an awesome idea – she’s going to take us on a tour of Green Lake real estate. Ooooooh, we are excited to see that place on Bagley. We’ll tell you all about it, don’t worry.
In the meantime, you can read up on Courtney’s thoughts about the north end of Green Lake (” … just the perfect spot for being close to all thie nice little shops and places like Zeek’s and Ben & Jerry’s, the pool, tennis courts, wading pool, and easy access to the great Green Lake loop!) and bask in feelings of awesomeness if you already live in the neighborhood that she loves so much:
Green Lake (Greenlake) is one of Seattle’s most desirable neighborhoods for many reasons! This urban village style neighborhood is full of shopping, restaurants, and wonderful attractions, but none as wonderful as its namesake, Green Lake, Seattle’s recreational haven.
Green Lake is a convenient Seattle neighborhood. Green Lake is a favorite for commuters because of its close proximity to downtown and easy access to community transit. Residents of Green Lake enjoy a ten to fifteen minute commute to downtown Seattle and an easy network of transit for commuting elsewhere. The Park itself: Green Lake the lake is the center and focus of the neighborhood and offers something for just about everyone in Seattle and beyond. Green Lake is surrounded by approximately three miles of paved and gravel trail surface for biking, jogging, running, rollerblading, strolling, and more! The park also offers an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, an outdoor wading pool area in the summer, room to play baseball, golf, soccer, basketball, or just picnic with your friends or family.Green Lake real estate: Housing in Green Lake ranges from condos to estate like historic homes overlooking the lake, but in recent years more and more townhomes have also begun to sprout up – many boasting creative and thoughtful design as well as environmental elements. Green Lake is full of residents who are on the forefront of pro-environmental green living and much of the new construction and remodels reflect this.
