Earlier this evening, Wallyhood reported a cougar sighting near Woodland Park. Further information is now available via KING 5 News:
Today in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, another cougar sighting was reported near Woodland Park and the zoo.
“We’re alerting all of our local officers in King County,” said Capt. Bill Hebner, Fish and Wildlife agent. “To make sure they have their capture equipment. And when we get a good sighting – a fresh sighting – we’ll deploy those officers and attempt to capture it and relocate it.”
Seattle cougar sightings have been going on for more than a week.
