The sole Green Lake home, the Arne residence, is a drive-by (or bike-by) only and located at 1160 N 76th.
Here’s the info about the Spokespeople ride:
We’re riding on Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. starting from Wallingford Playfield. We’ll visit two homes on the Washington State Solar Tour.
Our first stop will be in Eastern Wallingford and then we’ll go to Ravenna. If our group is feeling especially energetic, we will also go to an additional house in View Ridge before heading back via the Burke Gilman Trail to our starting point. If we go to View Ridge we can also stop for a free, low impact treat provided by our good friends at the View Ridge PCC.
Last month, on a stunningly beautiful day, we climbed to Phinney Ridge along a little used trail that ends in the Woodland Park Rose Garden. We also stopped at Fremont Peak Park to enjoy the view.
All Spokespeople rides start at the south end of Wallingford Playfield, 4219 Wallingford Ave N (Densmore & 42nd) at 2 p.m. Please, please, please, if this is your first Spokespeople ride, especially if you are a reluctant road rider, plan to arrive at 1:45 so that we can make sure your helmet and bike are adjusted to fit and you can review road-riding skills with our commuting experts. Please also let me know in advance if you want to buy a good helmet from us for $10 and I will bring along my sack of helmets. Expert cyclists, we love having you along to help inspire our newest on-street riders. All Spokespeople Ride Leaders are trained and certified by Cascade Bicycle Club.
