Nerds that we are, we periodically stalk Yelp for interesting tidbits about the neighborhood. Crime wave in Wallingford

We don’t have any way to keep official count, but here’s what we’ve heard of in the last week: Molly Moon’s was robbed at gunpoint this past week. Upcoming events at Green Lake's Mockingbird Books

Some cool events are going down at Mockingbird Books, a children’s book store located up behind Gregg’s Greenlake Cycle and north of Rosita’s.  For starters, they have a free story time 6 days a week (every day except Sunday) at 11 a.m. Also in the works: Tom Brenner, local author from Vashon Island, will be reading his new picture book And Then Comes Halloween during our daily story time, Saturday, October 3rd at 11AM.
