Green Lake bridal boutique featured in Seattle Bride Magazine

What do you think? (No Comments) September 26, 2009 at 1:03AM

Green Lake–based boutique, Calla Bridal is celebrating its first birthday this October, but owner Yachi Liang has been smitten with wedding dresses since eyeing her great-aunt’s bridal gown business as a young girl. Wanting a shop of her own, she opened Calla Bridal and quickly grabbed the attention of Seattle brides with edgy, vintage-inspired styles by lesser-known designers Matthew Christopher and Vineyard Bridal. Determined to showcase young designers new to the Seattle area and provide brides with a personal, one-at-a-time approach, Liang’s cozy boutique is a warm, clean space focused on her gowns and helping each bride find the right one.

Calla Bridal will be hosting a truck show, October 23rd to October 25th, 2009. 2009 and 2010 styles from Reverie by Melissa Sweet and Vineyard will be previewed.

What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is where a designer brings in his or her current collection in near entirety for you to see and try on. Normally I carry only a carefully chosen selection of a designer’s line, but during a trunk show, often the whole line is available for your perusal. Appointments are generally required.
