Dave Matthews Spotted at Green Lake

Tweeted about 4 hours ago (6 p.m.-ish this evening) by scottthepainter: Love that I saw Dave Matthews on a red bike with a basket while running around greenlake. Don’t worry, we’re working on a post–or entire spin-off blog–to address the amorphous boundaries of Green Lake….

Play Area is Caution Tape-free

If you’ve got little kids or just hate caution tape, you’ll be happy to know the caution tape that’s plagued the play structures is finally gone. The new squishy ramps look done, but hopefully the city is planning to fill in the surrounding wood chips because there are some hazardous drop offs. Or maybe the project isn’t finished and an enterprising parent just tore the tape down since no one was obeying it anyway.
