Happy Go Skateboarding Day! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by heading to Woodland Park’s skatepark, commonly referred to as “Greenlake Skatepark.” Check out this review from Northwest Longboarding and we’re sure you’ll agree:
A big park with two bowls and a street section that includes a small mini ramp with a spine and bowled ends. The clover bowl is probably the gnarliest, but really fun with tight, but not too tight trannies, tile and pool coping all around. The other bowl is really fun with a wide, oververt clamshell, a really well placed roll-in, and heights ranging from 4′ to 10′. The trannies are very forgiving and the whole bowl has metal coping. Really smooth and no kinks that I could come up with.
And massive props to the skater in the pads and brain bucket making his way back towards Green Lake up Stone Ave this afternoon. How he didn’t zonk, we’ll never know.
