Discovering A-Y-P at the Library this Saturday
So you read about rediscovering your local library in The Daily Green (no relation) this morning, but you still need more of a reason to go? How about a community research project this Saturday from 1 to 3pm:
Learn how to research and interpret historical evidence connected with the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition with the objective of increasing awareness of, and appreciation for, Seattle’s first World’s Fair.
Topics may range from how the fair affected Seattle’s early urbanization and transportation systems to how it influenced the women’s suffrage movement. Participation is free and open to all but registration is requested.
Register here or get more information from SPL.
