Yesterday a Green Lake curb bulb with rain garden lost out to a new Bitter Lake sidewalk when the Northwest District Council prioritized the top three Seattle Neighborhood Projects Fund projects. The proposed curb bulb was to be “planted” at North 76th Street and Winona Avenue North and would slow down traffic, protecting residents and visiting kiddies.

From the Ballard News-Tribune:
The council expressed interest in trying to complete both of the top two projects if funding allowed. Neighbors will also attempt to get funding for the curb bulb from Seattle Public Utilities.
We’re rooting for you, curb bulb!
