As you know, we are garage sale geeks. Ya gotta love a Green Lake garage sale, you know?
We just happened to stumble upon a fabulous one today, and thought that we really should run to the nearest available wifi and let you all know about it. Yes, it is almost noon, but it’s a rainy day, it’s Friday, and there is a lot of awesome stuff still there.
The sale is at 6242 Woodlawn Ave N. and features the wares of Tina and Dorthy, two sassy blond sisters who we caught using the term “broad” (even better, it was in the sentence “There’s a word for broads like that.”).
Green Lake ladies, get down there now! As of 11:30 a.m., there were about 50 vintage purses, most from the 1930s-1960s, and most going for $5. There was also a fantastic collection of vintage hats, hankies, umbrellas, and Little Golden Books.
