Last month’s Built Green featured project was a house in Green Lake. It’s full of fancy green features including a vegetated roof system, cistern for rainwater collection, and cork and bamboo flooring. The home tour was last Sunday, but don’t despair if you missed it–the house is for sale so there may be open houses in the future.

Like our previously-reported award-winning Green Lake house (which may be in Wallingford), this one is probably outside the neighborhood, too, most likely in Phinney Ridge. Don’t worry, we’re working on a post–or entire spin-off blog–to address the amorphous boundaries of Green Lake. At $950,000 now, imagine how much it would cost if it was actually in Green Lake. Imagine how much it would cost if it wasn’t two houses from Aurora.
